I have too many hobbies, and they all end up costing me money. Slowly but surely, I've been purchasing and hoarding equipment in my home and building a project studio in which I can record and produce music. It's taking a long time, because I've also been spending money pursuing a variety of other interests. In the meantime, I've come to realize that I can make 'podcasts' very easily. I have a number of microphones, so I can invite guests to sit in with me and discuss music, talk shit, throw on tunes, or anything else that can be recorded.
I'm certainly not a polished and practiced host, and I imagine that any time I invite guests, we'll be inebriated in some form, so you'll just have to deal with that. I think most of you will like these, though, because we have plenty of stories and other stuff to talk about, as well as a lot of great music. This can almost be like me burning mix cd's for people. You can even burn these sessions to a disc and listen to them on your way to work (although Dave Fleming tells me one one uses CDs anymore).
Anyway, try not to judge these too harshly. They're not meant to be 'professional'. Enjoy the songs, laugh at how stupid my guests and I sound. I'll try to create at least one of these per month.

Jeff Dahlin
